About me
Born out of the love for clean food, I started making my own sourdough several years ago. I studied at Leiths Cookery School in the 90's, and loved the baking element. I went on to attend a lot of courses to perfect the art of sourdough, and finally did a Bread Angel course to learn how to set up a microbakery in 2016.
From there I opened a microbakery, focusing on sourdough and wholesome breads and treats. It became hugely successful, I entered the World Bread Awards and over 3 years won two golds, and a silver! However the physical work drained me of time and energy while trying to raise a young child.
So in March 2020, at the beginning of lockdown I paused my classes.
Since then I've diversified, and now have another creative business. But my love of baking has returned, and I've got back into teaching in 2024.
